1929 Frazer Nash
Meadows engine
PE 9155
This is the ex Sandy Burnett car which previously ran with an Anzani engine. Our remit was to swap the Anzani for a Meadows unit and to give the car a full checkover. The checkover revealed a broken chassis devoid of any paint, chipped pinion teeth and steering and brake issues. The owner then asked us to strip, repair and paint the chassis and rebuild all the components as required including replacing the front and rear brakes and replacing the Marles steering unit for a 'Nash steering box. A new fuel tank was fabricated to replace the old item which was split, the radiator rebuilt and the body remounted. The car ended up receiving a full rebuild to make a very useable and reliable road car.
